Last night one of our members attended the RICS Greater Manchester QS and Construction Annual Dinner held at the Point Manchester. This is a great event with about a 1000 guests in attendance. On the way to the venue the worst possible thing happened, he “lost his voice”.
Toastmasters are to say the least, good at dealing with any situation so he calmly sent text messages to his guild colleagues seeking assistance. Jason Robinson (a new member to the guild) was quick to respond and came to the rescue. He donned his red cape and made his way to the venue and working together with his beleaguered colleague made sure the event was successful in every detail.
This just shows one of the major benefits of hiring a member of the Northern Guild of Toastmasters, “the client” will never be let down.
